Job Desctiption:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of our fleet of tug boats, ensuring they are in optimal working condition to meet operational demands.
Selection Criteria:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in marine mechanics preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a mechanic in the maritime industry.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing marine engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Strong understanding of maritime safety regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physical ability to perform tasks that may require climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
