The Payroll Section is within the Department of Finance & Treasury (DOFT)
Job Desctiption:
Ensure the government payroll is processed and completed on time to pay all government employees fortnightly. Internal verification process is also undertaken in accordance financial legislation of the Vanuatu Government
Selection Criteria:
Qualification: Degree preferable
Special Business Education: Business administration, accounting or related discipline
Experience: Relevant experience of at least 3 years in the field of Financial Management Management or payroll operation
Special skills: management and human resource skills, computer literate with Microsoft office programs, accounting skills, demonstrate good computation and mathematical ability, good public relations and customer services skills
Thinking style: Practical and analytical
Communication/ Interpersonal skills: Strong written and oral communication skills
Behavioral competencies: Honest, reliable and of good character
Language: English or French and Bislama
Salary:
PS 7.1 VT 2,202,300 per annum
