Organisation Description:
Asco Motors is the official dealership for Toyota, Yamaha, Fisher and Paykel, and Haier products in Vanuatu.
Job Desctiption:
To control company owned tools, SST and equipment distribution to the workshop on a daily basis and report any lost or damaged assets immediately to line management. Also ensure all workshop supplier and materials are controlled and managed within limits and reduce the risk of theft.
Duties:
*Maintain the inventory of the tool room allocated company assets;
*Ensure security is maintained at the highest level of all workshop tooling, SST's, equipment assets and material stock
*Advise the National Service Manager of any missing or damaged tools so they can be appropriately accounted for.
*Supervise the dispatch and return of all tooling and equipment and material movement to the workshop staff and update the register book each and every time in full with technician name, date and time of dispatch and return along with condition check;
*Provide tooling and equipment condition and movement report and material status summary report to the Service & Panel Manager weekly;
*Assist the National Service / FO Manager with other tasks as required to assist in Service / Panel achieving their objectives;
*Keep work area clean and tidy at all times;
*Assist the National Service and Panel Manager and Service team with any other tasks as required.
*Attend and contribute to regular weekly meetings with the Service Manager.
* Promote good health and safety practices, follow and support the implementation of ANZEN requirements to ensure a safe working environment;
*Ensure protective equipment is worn at all times (footwear)
*Ensure ongoing 5s activity is supported and standards maintained in the storeroom at all times.
*Alert management as to any missing or damaged tools which may impact on the staff safety or job performance
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in a similar role is required
