Organisation Description:
Entani Company Limited, as it is known today, started as Negau Entani Company Limited, responsible for managing the operations of the top-drawer tourism attraction in Vanuatu and the most accessible volcano in the world, Mount Yasur. Management operations started in 1980 and later evolved into their new name in 2012. Entani is an entirely ni-Vanuatu-owned and operated business.
Job Desctiption:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The CEO will be responsible for the management of Entani Company Ltd. and effectively lead the development, implementation, monitoring, reporting, and related activities of the company's operations.
He or she will be performing the following roles and responsibilities:
• Takes the lead to develop, implement and monitor the business operation plans and strategies;
• Manages the day-to-day business tasks and activities of the company, ensuring that staff are guided by their job tasks, business procedures and set guidelines;
• Manages relationships with government (especially the tourism industry), business partners, customers, clients, suppliers and service providers;
• Develop and implement community projects benefiting individuals and their families
• Oversee completion of Financial Audits;
• Develop and implement a sales plan with the purpose of increasing revenue through tourists visiting Mt Yasur Volcano;
• Ensures participation and compliance with the government's tourism programs and requirements;
• Provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on the Company's Operations through meetings and other modes;
• Develop systems and procedures to ensure that the Company's assets and resources are efficiently used and fully safeguarded, and
• May perform other duties as required and approved by the BOD.

Selection Criteria:
Essential Selection Criteria:
Proficient in tourism promotion-related work for a minimum of five years, with an ideal background in economics, management, or related fields or equivalent experience
A minimum of three years' experience in a comparable executive position (CEO, Managing Director, Manager, Head of Department, etc.)
Degree in Economics and Management or similar fields or equivalent from recognized university
Extensive understanding of the tourism industry in Vanuatu, as well as expertise in various other economic sectors.
Is a Vanuatu national
Desirable Selection Criteria:
Acknowledgment for exemplary professional conduct and integrity
A solid track record of accomplishments in a leadership capacity in the past
No affiliation with any political parties
Salary:
Negotiable, dependent on experience and demonstrable abilities
