Job Desctiption:

New unique and charming small resort in Vanuatu is searching for a passionate and experienced Hotel Manager to lead the team and delivering exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for all guests.

Responsibilities:

OVERALL LEADERSHIP:
- Provide strategic direction and vision for the resort, aligned with the ownership's goals.
- Oversee all operations, ensuring smooth and efficient daily functioning.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all staff.
- Represent the resort professionally in the community and industry.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:
- Oversee the delivery of exceptional guest service that exceeds expectations.
- Personally resolve guest issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Implement initiatives to continuously improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and manage unique guest experiences that showcase the resort's identity.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
- Develop and manage the resort's budget, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Analyze financial performance and implement strategies to optimize revenue.
- Work closely with ownership on financial reporting and forecasting.

OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT:
- Supervise all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage,
       activities, and maintenance.
- Ensure all departments meet the highest standards for quality and service.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a talented and dedicated team.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.

SALES & MARKETING:
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to attract new guests.
- Manage relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other industry partners.
- Oversee the resort's online presence and digital marketing efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a hotel manager or senior management role within
       the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of exceeding guest expectations and driving guest satisfaction.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a
       team.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
