We are a leading company in the automotive industry in Vanuatu, specializing in suspension systems, lift kits, and performance parts, whilst performing general maintenance, repairs and upgrades to passenger cars, bikes and heavy trucks
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for a senior mechanic who can lead our workshop team, diagnose and repair complex issues, and perform welding and fabrication tasks.
As a senior mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices
- Performing inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicles and equipment
- Installing and testing suspension systems, lift kits, and performance parts
- Welding and fabricating custom parts and accessories
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Providing excellent customer service and satisfaction
Selection Criteria:
- A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or mechanics
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry
- A proven track record of team leading and management skills
- A high level of proficiency in diagnostic computer software and tools
- A strong knowledge and skill in welding and fabrication techniques
- A great work ethic and a passion for quality and excellence
Salary:
Dependent on experience
