ProMedical Vanuatu provides a high level, inclusive, International standard pre-hospital health service for the community of Vanuatu.
Job Desctiption:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the ProMedical Vanuatu team in the role of Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Trainee. EMTs are responsible for answering 115 emergency calls, responding to medical emergencies and the provision of life-saving pre-hospital medical care. This position is a trainee position that requires the successful applicant to undertake a Certificate II in Emergency Medical response services (First Response) (HLT21112) and if successful further study in the Diploma of Emergency Healthcare (HLT51020).
ProMedical is looking for a motivated, community-minded individual who wants to serve their community.
Selection Criteria:
1. Fluent written and spoken Bislama & English
2. Basic Computer literacy
3. Completion of High School Certificate (year 12 minimum)
4. Moderate level of physical fitness
5. Citizen of Vanuatu
Desired Criteria
1. Fluent in Written and spoken French.
2. Manual Drivers Licence
3. Nursing qualification/experience and/or other health service experience
4. Tertiary studies in any field (APTC, Technical college or university)
