Mangoes Resort. Perched on the cliffs of Erakor lagoon, this adults only boutique hotel is tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood, just a 10 minute walk from Port Vila's lively township. The Resort contains 29 bungalows and three resort pools which are set amongst tropical gardens. Ten of the rooms feature their own plunge pool. An adjoining tennis court and gym is also available.
The Terraces Boutique Apartments are located next to our sister property Mangoes Resort. The Terraces is a contemporary apartment resort with spacious apartments for those aged over 5. Every apartment offers sweeping vistas of Erakor lagoon. It's the perfect location for family, intergenerational holidays, or for couples who wish to escape and unwind.
Job Desctiption:
You will be responsible for assisting with the oversight and management of the front of house, Bar and Restaurant as well as back of house.
This includes but not limited to assisting with the day to day running of the two properties including Front Desk, Reservations, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance as well as assisting managing staff and department heads.
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant qualifications
- Preferably have minimum 3 years experience in this role or similar
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and spoken
- Must be fluent in English, Bislama and French an advantage
- Self-confident - friendly and positive attitude, and are able to work independently or as part
of a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- Leadership with ability to assist and develop a resort team.
