VANWODS Microfinance Inc is a microfinance of network working and dedicated to eradicating poverty by empowering women in rural villages with the opportunity to start, grow and maintain sustainable income generating micro-enterprises.
Job Desctiption:
The position has dual role of field accounts and driver. The role encompasses microfinance field work services to low and average income earners and is responsible for identify and developing new clientele, managing loans and savings portfolio of clients and providing customer care. Person is also responsible for driving duties, primarily in transporting VANWODS Field Account Officers to centers, and to maintain, clean and secure the VANWODS vehicle. The driver is also required to execute office runs as needed to support functions of the staff and office.
Selection Criteria:
Preferred Education
Year 13 leaving certificate. Formal training in the field of finance, accounting, business, banking, or community development from recognized institution.
Preferred Experience
1 or more years experience in the same field will be ideal. However, highly trainable fresh entries into the workforce are welcome.
Other Qualities, Knowledge and Skills
• Systematic work personality with sound attention to detail.
• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must have excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be self-driven, proactive, objective, and have a service orientation.
• Well mannered and well groomed
• Systematic work personality with sound attention to detail.
• Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
• Good moral character and have no derogatory and/or criminal records.
• Must have VALID Driver license
