Organisation Description:
Asco Motors is the official dealership in Vanuatu for Toyota, Yamaha, Fisher and Paykel, and Avis rentals.
Job Desctiption:
Responsible for running an efficient Tyre & Battery Center and Products line and reporting to the CEO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Manage product inventory, including stock handling, pricing, ordering, sales, and chase opportunities for improvement and further business
*Conduct quality control inspections on every vehicle prior to release to customer
*Provide monthly reporting on time and with minimal errors
*Ensure optimum turnover of monthly sales and inventory, and expenses are kept within budget
*Submit quotes and product information to customers when required as per Sailun/Motorlite/F&P or retail rates
*Ensure any product repairs are completed within the promised time
*Ensure that good business relationships with customers and product suppliers are maintained
*Ensure that Tyre, Battery and product ranges are properly presented in the showroom area
*Ensure that cleanliness and orderliness of the TYB Center are maintained by adopting the 5S (a. sort, b. set in order, c. shine, d. standardise & sustain) philosophy
*Stay up to date with new product information or changes to build product knowledge
*Address any customer complaints quickly and effectively
*Ensure that all machineries and equipment are properly handled and maintained
*Provide the lead to all company projects and other sponsored events such as sales promotions and inventory stock takes
*Provide training and support to department staff when needed
*Perform other tasks that may be assigned
Selection Criteria:
*Diploma in Management or a similar field
*10 years' previous experience in a Management role in a similar field
*Works well in a fast-paced, team-based environment
*Confident in managing other staff
*Goal-oriented, self-motivated and great interpersonal skills
*Have a valid driving license
