Gaston Chocolat Ltd is a chocolate factory and coffee shop located in Port-Vila (Opposite Fung Kuei) that has been operating since 2017. It offers a wide range of hot/cold beverages and It is open on a daily basis, providing our customers with a welcoming and relaxing environment to enjoy their favorite treats.
Job Desctiption:
A Barista/Coffee job involves preparing and serving coffee and other hot/cold beverages to customers at our coffee shop, as well as other tasks such as handling cash transactions, welcoming and greeting customers, sales, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Selection Criteria:
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a barista or coffee maker in a similar fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience in handling cash transactions and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications or training in coffee-making or customer service is preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and company standards.
Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to use coffee machines, cash registers, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Salary:
12 320vt/weekly (280/h)
