Job Desctiption:
The Food and Beverage Outlet Manager is to reporting to the General Manager, and be supportive at the senior management team, be responsible to manage all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
• Manages controls, operates and supervises the Restaurant and bar staff and area assigned to him/her under the direct guidance and instructions of the Food and Beverage Manager or Assistant Food and Beverage Manager.
• To ensure that all food and drinks prepared from the kitchen and bar is of the highest standard, according to the standards of food and Beverage quality and presentation, by the resort.
• To assist in keeping the food and beverage cost and other kitchen and bar related expenses within the guidelines given. Ensure that staff is well aware of the product (food and beverage)
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an international hotel with island resort experience or equivalent
• Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management, BA, or related field equivalent
• Proven food and beverage management experience
• Experience of computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, particularly RoomMaster, POS) essential.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Communication and hands-on leadership skills
• Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
• Strong finance acumen with the ability to review P&L and manage forecasts/budgets
• Guest oriented and service minded
• Previous experience in integrated hotel/casino operations would be an advantage
