Job Desctiption:

JOB OBJECTIVE:
A Kitchen Attendant supports the day-to-day operation of the kitchen. At all times, you will maintain the kitchen, assist the Head Chef and Team in food production when required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting in food preparation.
• Participating in cooking along with chef and ensuring food is prepared to specified guidelines.
• Maintaining of food supply areas and equipment.
• Transferring required items from stock to the kitchen area required.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Disinfecting all kitchen equipment regularly.
• Briskly wash, sanitize, dry and put away clean dishes to maintain a safe work environment.
• Effectively wipe down counters and sinks, take out trash and recycling, sweep and mop floors on a daily basis to keep a clean and healthy kitchen.
