Job Desctiption:
The Assistant Manager position is the first managerial level within the hotel. As an Assistant Manager, you will have direct responsibility for all aspects of guest operations. You will report directly to the General Manager and assume the role of manager in their absence.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of guest operation including front desk, housekeeping, security and maintenance.
Ensure that guests are satisfied with their stay and take care of any needs they may have.
Communicate with guests to resolve any problems or concerns, following up as needed to ensure resolution.
Lead staff during their shift ensuring that they are meeting company standards for service excellence.
Perform other duties assigned by the General Manager or Director.
Selection Criteria:
Previous Front office experience
Previous hospitality management experience.
Previous basic accounting experience.
Experience in Xero
Drivers Licence.
