Job Desctiption:
The Senior Designer is responsible to deliver design drafting in line with project requirements and Kramer Ausenco standards. The Senior Designer is typically accountable for the delivery of complex Architectural and Structural design drafting under the direction of the Project Engineer. Direction and guidance are expected to be given to less experienced technical staff. Several years experience in Autocad drafting is required.
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum 5+ years progressive experience in design/drafting
• Exposure to reinforced concrete, steel, timber, cyclone & earthquake designs
• Understanding in the practical application of 12D civil design software
• Considerable understanding of industry specific software
• Ability to manage own daily work allocation as well as those assigned to support subgroup
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in mentoring, guiding and supporting less experienced technical staff
• Ability to work and communicate well in a team environment
