Job Desctiption:
ACG Vanuatu is looking for a motivated and reliable Civil Engineer / Civil Design draftsman or Civil Technical officer. The role requires you to have the following skills;
1. Autocad drafting experience
2. Design or drafting experience in civil infrastructure. This could be for roads, marine, airports or land development. Experience undertaken during your studies will be accepted.
3. Ideally you will have qualifications of an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. We will consider part completion of study and can provide support to complete studies in Australia.
You will work as part of a small team delivering infrastructure that builds the future for Vanuatu and you must have excellent language skills in Bislama and be familiar with Vanuatu standards and customs. Most projects rely on international donor organizations and you will need good English language skills for those projects.
You will be located in our office in Port Villa, however our projects will be located throughout Vanuatu and you must be prepared to travel to sites for occasional inspections. We will provide on the job training and you will be eligible for further international training in Civil Engineering for formal accreditations after demonstration of commitment to the business.
Selection Criteria:
1. AutoCAD drafting experience

3. Qualifications of an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
4. Excellent Bislama and English language skills
