VANWODS Microfinance Inc is a microfinance of network working and dedicated to eradicating poverty by empowering women in rural villages with the opportunity to start, grow and maintain sustainable, income generating micro-enterprises.
Job Desctiption:
The Field Account Officer undertakes field work to provide the specialized VANWODS microfinance service to low and average income earners, and is responsible for identifying and developing new clients, managing the loan and savings accounts for clients and providing quality customer service.
Selection Criteria:
Essential Selection Criteria
Year 13 leaving certificate. Formal training in the field of finance, accounting, and business, banking, or community development from recognized institution.
3 years of work experience
Valid Driver's license will be an advantage
Preferred Experience
2 years' work experience dealing with customers and finances is preferable.
Other Qualities
Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.
Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be self-driven, proactive, objective, and have a service orientation.
Excellent time management skills.
Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
Good moral character and have no derogatory and/or criminal records
