The VNSO has to respond to the needs of users by providing statistics to emerging needs, particularly for social trends and the state of the physical environment. To perform well the VNSO has to build and maintain good relationships with key providers of information and the users of that information.

Job Desctiption:
The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible to develop, maintain and manage an NSO Computer & Information System including performing the task of system analyst to ensure timely quality statistical reporting and dissemination.

Selection Criteria:
1.      Degree in computer science/information management systems, statistics other related fields;

2. At least 3 year experience in government or private sector computer oriented;

3. Broad knowledge in hard ware, software and programming, ability to learn quickly, a logical

approach to problem solving;

4. Analytical, practical and creative thinker;

5. Good communication skills;

6. Honesty, punctual, adaptive, initiative; and

7. English/French, fluent in both and Bislama.


Salary:
VT 2,202,300 per annum
