Tower Insurance has been enjoying strong and continued growth throughout the Pacific Islands and whilst we don't know quite what the future looks like, we do know that we're out to redefine insurance for the Pacific.
Right now, we are looking for a Branch Manager - Vanuatu to contribute to the success of Tower by providing day-to-day oversight of the Vanuatu operation to maximise potential sales and exceed customers' expectations whether they be our direct customers, partners or brokers.
Reporting through to the Regional GM based in Vanuatu, you can expect to be involved across a variety of areas including:
• Provide operational day-to-day oversight of the Vanuatu operation - being the first point of contact for the Vanuatu team members as the senior insurance consultant in the office
• Work with the Regional General Manager to grow the Vanuatu business by through business development activity , customer retention and delivering amazing customer experiences
• Provide day to day role clarity and alignment to strategy to the Vanuatu team
• Challenge the status quo whilst retaining the ability to deliver a superior experience to our business partners and customers
• Plan, lead and deliver both sales and service outcomes
• Lead and conduct team communications that inspire and engage team members to strive to exceed business targets and measures they are accountable for
• Build great relationships, create advocates, and ask 'how can we do this better?'
• Model the Tower values and leadership expectations
• Track, manage and improve the performance of the business and each team member in Vanuatu
• Provide transparency to the Regional GM on Vanuatu's business performance
• Think and plan for tomorrow, anticipating what are our customers and communities in Vanuatu need and how Tower can meet them?
• When required, act as the Delegate for the General Manager as the figurehead for the Vanuatu operation
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Proven leadership experience
• A passion for providing customers great outcomes
• A detailed understanding of and experience in the insurance industry
• A good understanding of how team efforts contribute to the success of the business as well as demonstrating a good understanding of customer experience touch point
• Exceptional relationship skills
• Strategic planning and resource management skills
• Business acumen
