Organisation Description: 
The Vanuatu Law Reform Commission is an independent statutory body funded by the Government of Vanuatu and created under the Law Commission Act [Cap 115 ] .The role of the VLRC is to continuously study and review the laws of Vanuatu and where required recommended improvement, modernisation and reform of these laws. The VLRC is intended to act as an independent body that will keep Vanuatu laws up to date.

Job Desctiption:
The VLRC requires an exceptional Operations Manager to join their team. This is an exciting time to join VLRC as the office grows and expands its services over the next 2-3 years. The Operations Manager will play a key role in the immediate expansion of our services as well as the longer-term efficiency of the office. We require a strong supervisor and mentor with excellent practical knowledge of applying operational systems and processes in small and medium sized organisations. This role is hands on and the successful candidate must be able to achieve results against tight deadlines.

Selection Criteria:
Ideally you will be Bachelor's degree qualified in a relevant topic such as Management, Business Administration or a related subject. You must be able to demonstrate that you have effectively supervised staff at an operational management level, and it is essential that you are able to show where you have implemented high quality operation systems and processes. You will be an excellent communicator and will have strong financial management experience and will be able to demonstrate where you have effectively managed budgets. Experience in developing and implementing HR processes would also be an advantage although not essential. You will also be required to demonstrate a high level of computer literacy using Microsoft Software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Salary:
vt. 2,042,700 per annum
