Au Bon Marche is a biggest company in Port Vila with 7 Retail Shop, 2 Wholesale and 4 Service Station.
Job Desctiption:
• Work and report directly to Retail Manager in effective scheduling
• Performs all other duties assigned by Management
• Implement and maintain an in- store culture that ensures growth and insure all staff to comply with all butchery regulations according to the quarantine act.
• Work closely with the pricing coordinator.
• Ensure proper department sanitation and safe food handling practices, train and develop meat department associates.
• Distribution and price all product and safety regulations and specialize in meat cuts, presentation and ensure that meat are well displayed & exposed.
Selection Criteria:
• Qualified with more than 8 to 10 years' experience in butchery.
• Good leadership skills and effective team leader to manage staff, including training and development.
• Ability to resolve workplace issues in a fair and consistent manner, and maintain positive associate morale and able to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements in the job.
• Efficient in time management and able to work under pressure.
• Specialize in meat cuts, presentation and displays.
• Management Experience Essential
• Able to run butchery 7 days a week
• Applications to work and be on standby at any hour, including Public Holidays, Weekends and have a sense of responsibility and initiative.
• Have a valid driver's license.
