Organisation Description:
World Vision Vanuatu currently delivers program in four of Vanuatu's six provinces: Shefa, Sanma, Torba and Tafea. These programs address Resilient livelihoods which includes Agricultural and Economic Development, Waste Management and Disaster Risk Reduction; Inclusive WASH which integrates water, sanitation, health and nutrition; and gender equality which focuses on positive family relationships and the elimination of gender-based violence.
Job Desctiption:
The Purpose of this position is to manage the Programme Quality Department in Port Vila, contributing to the achievement of high quality technical programmes and outcomes.
This role will:
- Oversee strong activity monitoring and reporting and contribute to design and evaluation missions for World Vision Vanuatu to ensure a credible evidence base for informed programming decision making, delivery of quality programs and a high standard of reporting to our donors/stakeholders.
- Work effectively, efficiently, and in cooperation with the Programme Quality team ensuring cohesive team work and good information flow.
-Staff leadership and management, including capacity development.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal candidate will have:
- a Bachelor's degree in technical field- Master's degree or equivalent is desirable.
- at least 5 years' experience working in Program Quality, M&E or similar role.
- Experience managing diverse team.
- Strong planning, organisational and project management skills and ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication- fluency in English required.
- Experiencing in programme or project design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and report writing.
- Ability to gracefully work under pressure.
- Computer literate in Microsoft office, Lotus Notes or similar database, email and internet.
- Ability to analyse and solve problems, persuade, network and negotiate.
Strong desire and willingness to learn new skills and systems.
