Computer World is looking for 2 full time IT Technicians with the below skills and experience:
Selection Criteria:
I.T Computer Technician
• Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components
• Test functionality and assess problems by operating computer systems or related
• Troubleshoot computer systems problems
• Take apart and re-assemble computer components and parts
• Use small handheld tools such as screwdrivers, voltmeters, etc
• Manually set up computer systems and hardware, and install or re-install software programs for computer users
• Work with colleagues (e.g., other computer repair and maintenance technicians) to resolve computer related problems (troubleshooting)
• Read and review technical support manuals or other materials
Network/Server Technician
• 2 Year's occupational Experience in a network/server management role
• Experience of Server Installations and OS builds.
• LAN & WAN administration, including switch and router configuration and administration.
• Understanding of the concepts and applicability of bridging, routing, virtual networks, network addressing régimes, subnet masking.
• Understanding and ability to use TCP/IP and associated protocols and tools (DNS, DHCP, PING etc).
• An understanding and practice of general management concepts, customer care, and project management.
Salary:
Salary based on experience, Bonus system and incentives also available.
