About The Role
Role Location: Port Vila, Vanuatu
Role Type: Permanent, full-time
As the Payments Officer, you will manage the inward and outward international and domestic payments processing for Vanuatu. You will ensure high quality, prompt and efficient processing of time critical transactions. In addition, you will raise timely and cost effective investigations, acting on enquires to enable the clearance of invalid payment items and items queried by other parties in the payment chain.
Some of the transactions processed are of high value thus exposing the Group to significant risk.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
Significant banking experience with knowledge of payments procedures and ANZ policies
Well versed with International payments
Strong attention to detail
Highly developed problem solving skills and the ability to work in a constantly changing environment
Ability to effectively influence and communicate with stakeholders at varying levels - from senior managers to operations staff
