Our organisation has an
exciting growth opportunity for an experienced Project Sales Manager to drive
the execution of sales strategy for Surf and Stand up paddle boards lessons
and tours in the region (Vanuatu – New Caledonia-Australia-NZ). The position
will be based in Port Vila.

Job Description
|
This role is primarily
focused on selling surf and SUP lessons and tours and will be acting on the
local and tourist market.
To be effective, the candidate will: • be active in a business development capacity in the country and establish and maintain an effective network (hotels, schools etc…) • Build long term relationships with our customers • understand the breadth of our products offerings and understand how to engage the appropriate resources internally to present the strongest value offers and packages • stay up to date on the tourism industry news relevant to the region and ensure VKS is actively aware and pursuing qualified opportunities • generate and manage the strategy for developing a project in marketing and sales • provide thorough, accurate and timely marketing and sales reports • visit potential customers to understand opportunities and pitch VKS offerings • Manage complex proposal preparation, review and submission Candidates who meet the following requirements will be considered: |

Education and Experience
• Commercial / business and marketing management certificate • 5 plus years in the Surfing Industry • Experience in effectively interfacing with clients, gaining credibility, developing and implementing • project-specific sales and marketing strategies. • Qualified Lifeguard as the candidate will be organizing lessons and tours Personality Skills : • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • French and English speaking is a requirement • Confident in meeting and engaging with different profiles of professionals • Presentation skills • Active listener • Respects deadlines and works independently to reach them Special Skills : • Web marketing Strategy • Social media and brand content • Photoshop, Wordpress, Pack office. |
