Job Description
|
• Prepare a wide variety
of goods such as breads, croissants, pies, tarts, cakes and cookies
• Decorate cakes and pastries using different icings and toppings so that they are appealing to the eye • Create new and exciting desserts • Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations • Check quality of material and condition of equipment • Check expiration dates • Maintain a clean cooking station • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in kitchen • Keep updated with the latest food and industry trends |

Selection Criteria
|
• Experience as a Baker,
Pastry Chef or similar role
• Great attention to detail with creative flare and pride in presentation • Familiar with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers and blenders • Understanding of food safety practices • Experience with cake and pastry decoration techniques • Excellent time-management skills • Able to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment • Possess great team spirit with a customer-focused attitude • Be flexible to work early morning shifts |
