Licensed restaurant + day tours of the plantation. Lunch, dinner and special events (for up to 60 guests). Job available now. Preference to applicant who can start quickly. |
Job Description
|
Prepare meals for
tourists and locals. Manage all aspects
of the kitchen. This is a small
restaurant which means being multi skilled in many areas. Supervise other kitchen staff.
Kitchen consists of head chef, sous chef and kitchen hand/s as needed on busy or event days. Weekend work required. Mostly day shifts with 1-2 night shifts per week. |
Selection Criteria
|
Very good English required
5-10 years as qualified chef in an ex-pat operated restaurant for tourists. Ability to cook existing menu but also offer suggestions for new creative menu options. Pastry background not essential but view favourably. Experience with ordering stock, stock control, hygiene supervision and minimisation of waste. Ability and willingness to share your expertise, recipes and experience. Previous experience catering for events. Preference to: Ni-Van citizens. Overseas applicants not accepted. Salary

Negotiable. May include on site staff accommodation
