Job Description
|

We’re looking for someone
who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them
seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The successful candidate
should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work,
especially in the Tourism industry, to support our Sales department. We work
in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to
hit the ground running as soon as we bring on a new project. Job Description
• Meet with Managers to determine the scope of a project • Create strategies to reach a particular audience • Determine the message the design should portray • Create images that identify a product or convey a message • Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites • Select colours, images, text style, and layout • Present the design to clients or the art director • Incorporate changes recommended by the managers into the final design • Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects • Create rough and final cuts and ensure logical sequencing and smooth running |

Selection Criteria
|
|
• Bachelor’s degree or
tertiary qualification in graphic design or a related field
• Experienced in computerized design, commercial graphics production, marketing and business. • Able to meet datelines and work effectively with the sales team • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Graphic designer • Excellent conceptual thinking • High knowledge of any graphic designs tools • Demonstrated experience in effective • Delivery oriented on schedule and according to timeline set • Excellent team work skills • Fluent in English, Bislama and good understanding of French • Excellent written and verbal skill Candidates for graphic design positions should demonstrate their creativity and originality through a professional portfolio that features their best designs. |
