- To engage community groups in the Port Vila area and
in rural areas around Efate
- To develop and present educational programs on animal welfare, to a diverse
audience including high school students, primary school students and community
groups
- To deliver reports and updates to the Sam’s Animal Welfare Association President and Board members at regular meetings
- To work and continue professional training alongside current veterinary staff
and others
- To assist with the community desexing clinics as required
- To work within the terms of reference as describes by the Board.
Criteria:
- A passion and enthusiasm for animals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, a background in education would
be seen as an advantage
- Demonstrated experience running workshops with different community groups
- Computer literacy; email, Facebook and Microsoft office
- Willingness to work with a team and develop new skills
- Strong in English and Bislama, French is an advantage.
