| Job Description:
We’re seeking expressions of interest for a Project Officer to join us in Ambae as part of the Response Team. This is a part-time position for 6 months.
Program Officer – You
will make an impact by:
Working closely with targeted children, their
families and communities and assist in ensuring project activities are implemented in line
with government led response and recovery plans, with coordination via
government-led cluster coordination mechanisms. Activities will be implemented in close
coordination with the NDMO, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, Ministry of Education
and other relevant line ministries.
Criteria:
Project
Officer ……. You display well developed verbal communication skills in
both Bislama and English and able to clearly communicate sensitive topics. You are able to use participatory approaches during facilitation to ensure
training objectives are achieved. You demonstrate the ability
to plan and organise self and others to ensure the timely completion of tasks
while working to deadlines and you demonstrate the ability to coordinate and
support groups of women and youth.
