Job Description:
The BOARD of the Vanuatu Agriculture Development Bank, is looking for a competent Ni-Vanuatu person to take over the role of Chief Executive Officer and General Manager to lead, direct and guide the Bank to its next level of development. The person we are looking for must be mature, have the ability to think strategically, and have the ability to deal with the various strata of society that the Bank deals with. The CEO is responsible for the planning and oversight of all Bank activities in accordance with the VADB Act, prudential banking guidelines and policies and directives as established by the board of directors. He or she will ensure the Banks financial stability and viability and will provide strategic direction, vision, leadership, and management in all functional areas. 
      Criteria:
      Applicant profile: essential prerequisites
      • Knowledge of current banking Rules and Regulations a must
      • Knowledge of human resource supervision, compliance and techniques required
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field with at least eight or more years of experience in a financial institutions required
      • Experience in development banking will be an advantage
      • Sensible logical thinker, strong moral principles, understand Ni-Vanuatu
      • Capacity to develop innovative products that suits all Ni-Vanuatu who are serious to participate and benefit from economic development.
      The following experiences and background are desired
      • Track record of success in lending and in other financial services
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to excel in a team environment
      • Demonstrated ability to grow an organization
      • Knowledge of marketing strategies and community outreach techniques.
