Office of the Maritime Regulator is looking for
a Driver Messenger to assist the Maritime Regulator in day-to-day project
activation.
About
the Position
The
purpose of the position is to carry out and conduct the OMR Driver messengers
Job Duties for the independent Office of the Maritime Regulator (OMR). (The OMR
is an independent regulatory body structured as a Vanuatu Government owned
corporation.)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for driving the office vehicle during official hours of work
- Regular
cleaning of the office vehicles
- Delivering
mail and messages to respective clients
- Collecting
of material, suppliers and mail
- Ensure
that official vehicles are serviced regularly and that they are properly
maintained at all times and reporting any vault or breakages immediately
- Driving Office staff for the purpose of undertaking their duties, including picking
up of touring officers from airport and dropping off
- Keep
spare parts and keys secure
- Ensure
vehicle log book is filled.
Criteria:
Positional
Requirements:
- High
school certificate
- 3
years experience in driving
- Demonstrate
understanding of Traffic rules
- Current Driving licence
- Excellent
organizational and communication skills
- Must
be a team player and exhibit a high level of accountability, personal
responsibility and commitment
- Initiative
to go above and beyond while maintain a positive attitude.
