Telecom Vanuatu
Limited is seeking for a Regional Head Northern
Islands to be based in Santo.
Your primary
objective will be to ensure the growth of TVL’s business in the Northern
Province.
To meet this objective your responsibilities will
be to:
- Maintain and expanding TVL’s distribution network
of refill vouchers
- Client relationship management of business
customers and major distributors to ensure satisfaction with TVL’s products and
services and retention
- Coordinate the Technical team and Commercial teams
from Business and Consumer markets in the fulfillment of services to customers
by setting goals, timelines, monitoring progress towards goals, support for
team members and conflict resolution if any
- Coordinate the Santo Retail and Distribution team
to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services. This includes
ensuring:
- Coordinate events such as road shows for the sale
of TVL’s products and services to generate business growth
- Coordinate TVL sponsored events such as carnivals
which promotes the TVL brand to the Communities and business stakeholders
- Be the ambassador of the TVL brand at business
events to promote business
- Coordinate the implementation of marketing
campaigns
- Ensure TVL’s branding and marketing signage
installed at various locations are adequate, properly maintained and current.
You will coordinate the following teams to ensure
timely delivery of services and superior customer experience:
- Technical and Line Plant teams
- The Distribution team
- The retail team
- The Corporate Sales team.
Criteria:
Competences:
1. Knowledge & Qualifications
- Business school or university master diploma in
business/marketing or equivalent
- At least ten years of successful, direct experience
in B2C sales and B2B within Telecom Industry
- Basic technology on RAN, Copper, Fibre and Nano
technology
2. Skills & Experiences
- Experience in fixed and mobile telecommunications
services environment
- Experience in managing teams and conflict
resolution
- Experience in client services
- Experience in report skills
- Excellent oral and written skills in English and
Bislama. French is preferable
- Must be able to work under pressure
- A valid driver’s license
3. Personal characteristics
- Reliable and deliver your responsibilities with

strategies and targets
- Proactive in all aspects of engagement for work
- Analytical and find solutions to business problems
- Make decisions within delegated business limits.
