Job Description:
SPBD (Vanuatu) Microfinance is part of a network of
microfinance institutions working in Vanuatu,Tonga, Fiji, Samoa, and Solomon
Islands. We are dedicated to eradicating poverty by empowering women in poor
rural villages with the opportunity to start, grow and maintain sustainable,
income-generating micro-enterprises, build assets, as well as finance home
improvements and childhood education. SPBD provides clients with a range of
training, financial services and ongoing motivation so that they can climb permanently
out of poverty.
We are looking for motivated individuals with professional attitude and skills
to work with our team of committed staff members.
3 CENTRE MANAGERS:
The Centre Manager will report to the General Manager and will be responsible
for:
- Developing a viable portfolio for micro-entrepreneurs by providing them with training
and advisory support
- Driving to different villages every day throughout the Island to implement the
microfinance development program
- Speaking with large groups of women
- Deliver financial education programs to the village centres
- Loan collection and disbursement
- Working as an effective team member
- Supporting women to develop their businesses.
