- Being sensational at greeting guests, so they feel welcome
- Greet guests and arrange their day tours of our caves and plantation as well as restaurant seating
- Answer the office phone and take bookings
- Take food and drink orders
- Serve meals and make drinks orders at the bar.
We are a small business but this is a big job! You will work with another very experienced waitress and on her days off, run front of house on your own. Full training provided in areas you are not familiar with. However this position requires a minimum of 5 years experience with tourists at a resort.
If you have other skills they may be valued highly and other job roles are possible. For example, computer skills, it is not necessary but highly valued. This is a senior role for a very experienced person. The possibilities are exciting.
You will report to the head chef and to the co-owner.
We are open 7 days a week from 8am to 4pm plus evening meals 1-2 times per week. You will work rostered weekends and public holidays, based on a 5 days per week.
If you live in Vila or elsewhere, transport costs may be provided. If you are new to Santo, we may be able to assist with accommodation, depending on family needs.
