Job Description:
World
Vision Vanuatu is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working
with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. Since 1981, we have been working to transform
communities through delivering programming in education, health care, water,
agriculture and sustainable livelihoods.

Vision Vanuatu, with 80% of our staff based in the communities where we work.
World
Vision is currently recruiting for Finance
and Corporate Services Manager role;
this role will provide
overall leadership and management of four departments: Finance, Procurement
& Logistics, Information Technology and Office Administration. This role will be reporting to the Country
Director, and work base is World Vision Office in - Port Vila.

In
line with WV Vanuatu’s For Children, For Change, For Life (4C4C4L) purpose,
this position will:
- Provide overall leadership and management of
four departments: Finance, Procurement & Logistics, Information Technology
and Office Administration
- Help implement financial policies for budgets,
cash management, grant and donor reporting to ensure compliance with
established and appropriate policies relevant to respective projects and WV
financial policy
- Help promote financial stewardship,
accountability and reliability of financial transactions
- Help administer all aspects of office
management, risk management and office security
- Manage procurement and logistics management
functions and staff, undertaking continuous improvement and capacity building
programs
- Assist implement IT policies, procedures and
best practices and enable the operation of the department in alignment with the
business objectives of the organization in cooperation with Senior IT Officer
- Represent World Vision in high-level meetings with
key government stakeholders.

Criteria:
The
ideal candidate should require:
- A
university degree in accounting and a professional designation from a
recognized financial/management
institution
- At
least four years working in a managerial position in Finance, Logistics, or
Programming. Experience working in a cross-cultural working environment
- Knowledge
of Grants Management on at least two of the following grants (AUSAid, NZ-SDF,
MoFA Japan, USAID, EC, WFP)
- Ability
to prepare budgets across a programme, such that multiple projects support an
integrated program
- Demonstrated
experience in financial analysis, business reporting, financial planning and
forecasting
- Excellent
accounting and financial management skills
- Strong
planning, organisational and project management skills and ability
to prioritise and handle multiple tasks
- Good
analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to think creatively and
innovatively
- Relational
skills, especially in a cross-cultural environment
- Demonstrated
experience in team leadership at a strategic policy level and staff
supervision.
