Senior program managers :
Under limited direction, senior program managers oversee one or more sectors of Australia’s aid program in Vanuatu. Duties include implementing program activities and providing high-level advice to Australian High Commission Executive. The Australian High Commission is currently looking to fill the Senior Program Manager Health role. A merit list of suitable applicants may be used to fill future vacancies.
Program managers :
Under general direction, program managers provide support to the management and implementation of Australia’s aid program in Vanuatu. Program managers also support coordination and reporting (financial, fraud, performance and quality) across the program. The Australian High Commission will use this process to develop a merit list of suitable applicants that may be used to fill future vacancies.
Criteria:
Qualifications/Experience:
- All senior program manager and program manager positions require relevant tertiary qualifications and professional/technical or specialist expertise
- knowledge or experience in public policy
- Development and related sectors.
Essential Requirements:
- All senior program manager and program manager positions require strong representation
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of the Australian High Commission
- Strong written and spoken English is essential and spoken Bislama is highly desirable for all positions.
