  • 1 Mechanic
  • 1 Truck driver (6m3>)
  • 1 Backhoe driver
General Maintenance is looking for a Mechanic, a Truck Driver and Backhoe Driver for its ongoing works and projects in Vanuatu. Preference will go to experience drivers with good driving skills and good backgrounds.

Missions/Duties
  • Mechanic: to maintain the company fleet in good working condition and to assist/attend emergencies on sites whenever a vehicle suddenly breaks down or has problems.
  • Truck driver: to drive company’s truck and transport material and equipment on sites.
  • Backhoe driver: to drive company’s backhoe on sites, to dig trenches or do excavating works upon request of customers or as directed by the Office.
Candidates to these positions shall have good behavior and be punctual. Also be able to work long hours and on weekends when required. At times may need to work in the islands.
Criteria:
Experience & Qualification required:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a same position
  • Exceptional driving skills
  • Highly skilled and experienced in field work
  • Maturity to handle a range of situations and taken decision where necessary
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
