Term Position from now to May 01 2018- possible
extension to Dec 31 2018.
No relocation costs will be paid, successful applicant must make their own way
to Vanuatu and must be available in Vanuatu for interviews in the month of
June. Position expected to start by June 15.
Criteria:
- Experience in working with stakeholders and client relations
and client interface
- Experience in process control and monitoring
- Demonstrated experience in managing diverse teams up to 15 people
- Understanding of workforce and worksite health and safety
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a small dedicated team
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadline and manage time efficiently
- Sound computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office experience including MS
Project or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of venue planning/overlay in multi-sport Games/Event
environment
- Management of budgets and work plans up to 1 million USD and development of proposals
- Facilities Management in a multi user and multi sport environment
- Demonstrated experience liaison with contractors for new and renovation of
sport facilities
- Must have recent experience in working with multiple stakeholders in Vanuatu in
a setting that requires flexible and adaptive negotiating skills
- Fluent in English and Bislama written and oral. French an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
- Demonstrated experience working with support teams for sports, technology, volunteers
and broadcasting
- Demonstrated multi-cultural experience working in a foreign country
- Understanding of maintenance programming and support for facilities including
HVAC/Floor surfaces/landscaping equipment/vehicles
- Recent first aid/CPR course
- Valid Passport through to December 2018 with no reasons prohibiting work in any
Pacific country.
