Job Description:
The Melanesian Port Vila is seeking to hire two (2)
Commis Chefs.
|
Criteria:
- Previous experience of at least 3 - 5 years working in a busy kitchen
- Have to be punctual, neat and tidy and maintain high level of hygiene
- Should be confident within all sections in a kitchen operations
- Possess good interpersonal skills
- Be very customer focused
- Have a good understanding of food cost control
- Be able to prepare all food item to order, following standard recipes and procedures with specific time limits
- Be able to grill raw and prepped foods to order and
requested temperature
- Be a team player and work well under pressure
- Be a Vanuatu citizen currently living in Port Vila.
