Job Description: The position will cover the duties below but not
only:
|
|
Management:
- Be able to organize the daily, weekly and monthly duties of the
Maintenance & Gardening department
- Manage a team of 5 to 8 persons
- Compile written reports for the Management
Maintenance duties:
- Delivery of repairs for job in-room and around the resort including, but
not only: painting, building, wiring, cleaning, plumbing, tiling
- Ensure all the rooms with an arrival and departure on the day are
conformed to our standard and that all devices and lights work properly (TV,
Stove, Microwaves, Oven, Air Con, DVD player …)
- Make sure that all the repairs impacting an in-house guest are solved
prior the end of your shift. In case of need, inform the management as soon as
possible if repairs require the intervention of a supplier or the purchase of
new materials
- Ensure
the outdoor areas of the resort are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene
and guest safety
- Be able to contact suppliers to ask and compare quotes
- Submit to Management & Account written detailed quotes for
validation
- Purchase materials previously authorized by Management
- When the intervention of a supplier is requested, follow its work and
report to Management & Front desk the progress
- Knowledge of pool servicing & pump is an advantage
- From time to time, we may require you to perform other duties within
your skills and competency.
