Job Description:
Recruits, trains and works with women who run their own small businesses. Having good endurance, he/she drives every day to different villages throughout Efate to implement our program by conducting group meetings which runs up to 1 hour. He/She is articulate and comfortable speaking to large groups of women. He/She is respectful by displaying the ability and willingness to get along well with women of various social classes and educational abilities.

 Main Duties
  • Recruit and train new client members
  • Prepare loan applications and make loan assessments for small businesses
  • Collect weekly repayments
  • Maintain good loan portfolio quality and control.
      Criteria:
      Minimum Qualifications/Experience
      • Must possess a valid driver’s license
      • High energy and good endurance for field work
      • A degree with at least 2 years of work experience in a community, commercial banking or banking organization with demonstrated success and progress well regarded
      • Social work experience would be well regarded 
      • Experience with women’s groups and committees also well regarded
      • Ability to relate to and promote the social mission of SPBD whilst enforcing and complying with commercial disciplines
      • Fresh graduates with demonstrated high commitments also welcomed to apply
      • Fluent in both Bislama and English.
