Job Description:
The Australian High Commission is looking for a gardener to join our team. The gardener is responsible for managing all garden areas at the Australian High Commission.

About the Position
Under close direction the Gardener maintains the grounds of the Australian High Commission in Port Vila.

The key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • General landscaping, including the maintenance of garden beds and nursery 
  • Maintaining the grounds to a high standard
  • Managing rubbish removal
  • Maintaining garden tools and equipment
  • Washing official vehicles promptly and effectively
  • Providing support to the Property Team as required.
Criteria:
    Qualifications/Experience
    • Experience maintaining large or complex gardens
    • Knowledge of plants and landscaping
    General requirements
    • Some heavy lifting may be required.
