| The Position | ||
| The Manager – Finance, will manage the finance function for the CARE International program in Vanuatu. This position will ensure that all appropriate finance systems, policies and procedures are in place and in line with CARE International and donor requirements. The Manager – Finance, is expected to contribute to the strategic management of the program office and work in a collegial and team spirit to achieve these goals. | ||
| Essential Selection Criteria | ||
| ► Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance Management, Grant Management desirable | ||
| ► Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, preferably in Finance Management with at least 2 years with an International Non-Government Organisation (INGO) or equivalent; | ||
| ► Ability to manage the finance technical function, with minimal supervision; | ||
| Desirable Selection Criteria | ||
| ► Knowledge of relevant Vanuatu laws; | ||
| ► Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines in a complex environment | ||
| ► Fully conversant in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent numeric skills and knowledge of Sun Systems accounting software an asset | ||
