Job Description:
The
Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce & Industry is seeking to recruit a Ni Vanuatu
citizen for the Advocacy Officer.
The Employers
Trade Promotion Unit is expanding its Employers Trade Promotion Advocacy Unit
to assist employers and entrepreneurs in Vanuatu. The Employers Trade Promotion
Advocacy Unit scope is to provide broad support in terms of advocacy and policy
to employers and entrepreneurs needs and interests in administrative work for
the Vanuatu Employers Organisation (VEO), the National Tripartite Labor
Advisory Council (TLAC), the Business Associations members of VCCI, including information
network and information development and dissemination, as well as trade and
promotion.
Job Requirements:
The person will carry out tasks assisting the Employers Trade Promotion Manager in advocacy tasks including administrative tasks, developing, implementing, and coordinating programs and delivering services, information network among employers and interest groups, information development and dissemination on Employment and other Labour Acts through hand out material and other communication tools. The person will also carry out tasks in trade and promotion.
