The Vanuatu Education Support Program (VESP) is supporting the Government of Vanuatu’s goals of improving education quality, providing more equitable access to education and ensuring a well-managed education system. The program is currently focused on improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for children in the early years of primary education. VESP is supported by donor partners under a Joint Partnership Arrangement between the Governments of Vanuatu, Australia and New Zealand.
Coffey through VESP are now seeking applications for the role of Program Support Officer – job reference 495086 to join this significant program.
This position will report to the VESP Operations Manager
and will be responsible for providing range of administrative, logistical and
IT support to VESP activities and Key responsibilities include:
- Support
to VESP technical advisers, including travel arrangements, accommodation and
visas
- Managing
the electronic correspondence and document filing systems
- Updating
and maintaining the program Assets Register
- Provide information technology (IT) support for the VESP
program.
Criteria:
- The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified and will
have previous experience in administration and logistics support, ideally with
a development program or international organisation. Experience dealing with
multiple clients and a strong service delivery approach is essential.
Applicants will have good computing skills and be able to securely
store electronic files and information. We are seeking applicants who are happy
to work across a range of tasks with good attention to detail, reliability and
who enjoy working in a diverse team.
