The Vanuatu Education Support Program (VESP) is supporting the Government of Vanuatu’s goals of improving education quality, providing more equitable access to education and ensuring a well-managed education system. The program is currently focused on improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for children in the early years of primary education. VESP is supported by donor partners under a Joint Partnership Arrangement between the Governments of Vanuatu, Australia and New Zealand.

The Training Materials Coordinator will work within the Vanuatu Institute for Teacher Education (VITE) and will assist in the review of existing materials as well as the design of new materials for teacher training and professional development. Key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking consultation and needs analysis exercises to be used for new training modules
- Assist with the coordination of new training initiatives and
- Support and assist with alternative modes of professional development and training delivery.
