The Position | ||
This position is responsible for the day to day management of the long term organisational requirements of the CARE Vanuatu Country Office (Port Vila) administration including safety and security; procurement of goods and services; office management, maintenance and inventory of all assets; vehicle management; logistics support to the program and partners and government liaison on administrative matters including visa requirements. | ||
Essential Selection Criteria | ||
► Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management or equivalent and/ or minimum 5 year relevant work experience | ||
► Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills, including the ability to plan and manage workflows and balance competing priorities to ensure timely processing to meet deadlines in a complex environment | ||
► Excellent communication skills in Bislama and intermediate in English | ||
► Fully conversant in Microsoft Office with knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel and excellent numeric skills. | ||
► Proven ability in managing a budget and/or cash | ||
Desirable Selection Criteria | ||
► 5 year relevant work experience, preferably in administration/office management, logistics, procurement, and/or safety and security | ||
► Proven understanding of working with an International Non-Government Organisation (INGO) and a willingness to learn about CARE, gender equality and women’s empowerment activities | ||
