Job Description: Applications are invited for the position of Cargo Officer for Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited. The position will be based at Bauerfield Domestic Airport, Port Vila, Vanuatu. The position will report through to the Manager Cargo. Criteria: Applicants must be suitably qualified for this position and meet the following criteria: Demonstrated Cargo and Customer Services Experience Desirable  Excellent Negotiating and Problem Solving Skills  Demonstrated Experience in Cargo Import/Export, Training and Motivating Staff Demonstrated Experience in Handling Customer and Staff Issues and Needs Ability to be "On Call" 24 Hours/7 Days a Week and Work Weekends as required Excellent Oral, Written, Communication and Computer Skills Required Holder of a Current Driver's License Essential Must be a computer literate Will be required to pass Dangerous Goods Acceptance Course Cat 6 Must be able to provide Police Clearance and a Medical Report declaring fit for all duties and eligible to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
