The successful candidate will be able to work
unsupervised in a high demand environment, which often involves long hours. you
will be based in our workshop in Port Vila, however, as we attend to contracts
all over Vanuatu, you will require drivers licence and will often be required
to travel.
Criteria:
- Set up welding machines and using all welding
procedures and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints or drawings to
determine the specific welding requirements
- Fitting metal parts using MIG and
TIG to weld steel, aluminium and stainless steel components
- Diagnose faults on
production systems and alter to resolve problems
- Ensure work is done safely
and meets quality standards
- Be able to weld on product lines and high hygiene
areas where it is essential that our work is carried out to the highest standard
to avoid any contamination or bacteria build up in any product lines or hygiene
areas
- Must have minimum 10 years’ experience.
